Website statistics graphI have spent some time putting together some key areas of my dissertation which should help inform and allow me to draw conclusions on my dissertation question “Does UK radio have a viable role as a social tool and media platform in the future”. I have decided to focus on the UK, otherwise i think my arguments will become too convoluted. Here are some of the key areas i have outlined:

1950 style radioHaving spent a lot of time contemplating, i’ve realised that my original idea for my dissertation (the avatar) just really wasn’t appealing enough to me. It was one of the first ideas i’d had, and under pressure to write proposals and abstracts i had settled for it.

The working title i am going with for the moment is ‘How does the increased reliance on avatars as a means for personal representation on the web affect human interactive behaviour?’.
